Without a defender Wolves had to use Joe Silvani and Jaegar Thompson who were without doubt players of the tournament. Also playing ofr the first time was Mikege Augustus in goal. Wolves took the lead against Interwood when Joe Silvani struck the penalty in after an Interwood player went in his own area. Wolves held on for a few minutes but Interwood equalised with a penalty of their own. Wolves battled on but Interwood really got going and scored three more. Up next was Forty Hill who proved to be a strong side but Joe Silvani and Jaegar Thompson were rock solid at the back and kept a clean sheet. Joshua Nelson came close after dribbling past a defender but shot wide. The final group game was against Woodford and Wolves seemed up for it, desperate to finish as high as possible. Wolves started bright and for the opening few minutes were all over Woodford. In the fourth minute though the Woodford attack got the better of Wolves' defence for one nil and soon after scored again. Heads seemed to drop and Woodford struck twice more. Every team however, progressed to the last sixteen but Wolves were undone by the Interwood 'A' team.
